Attorney Jonathan Berdugo was born in Long Island, NY, and grew up in California’s San Gabriel Valley. A first-generation U.S. citizen with parents of Central American descent, Jonathan graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis in U.S. Government. He went on to earn his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law.

Jonathan Berdugo has over a decade of legal experience assisting clients with various legal matters, including unlawful detainers, immigration and citizenship matters, personal bankruptcy filings, homelessness advocacy, filing restraining orders, and more. He has received recognition from local organizations and groups for his pro bono advocacy work.

In his downtime, Jonathan enjoys sports of all kinds, from cycling to golf to basketball. He loves playing board games and computer games, spending time outdoors, and visiting with friends and family. He and his wife, who is also a first-generation U.S. citizen, are the proud owners of a dog named Kenobi (yes, as in Obi-Wan). He’s an avid reader of books on all sorts of topics—he aims to read a new book at least every two weeks.
