Attorney Jonathan R. Berdugo was born in Long Island, New York but grew up in Southern California’s San Gabriel Valley. Mr. Berdugo is a first-generation U.S. citizen with parents of Central American descent. He graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science. He went on to earn his law degree (Juris Doctorate) from the UCLA School of Law.
Jonathan Berdugo has over a decade of legal experience assisting clients with various legal matters, including unlawful detainers, immigration and citizenship matters, personal bankruptcy filings, homelessness advocacy, filing restraining orders, and more. He has received recognition from local organizations and groups for his pro bono advocacy work.
In his downtime, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife, also a first generation American Citizen of Vietnamese descent, and their two children. Semi-annual camping trips and consistent involvement in giving back to the community are also favorite pastimes.
